Queen Creek police issue notification of 'high risk' sex offender

The Queen Creek Police Department has issued a community notification on a Level 3 Risk sex offender.

The Queen Creek Police Department, in accordance with state law, has issued a community notification on a Level 3 Risk sex offender.
Gregg Griffo, 63, has been convicted of attempted sexual assault and police have been informed that he is residing at northeast Riggs and Rittenhouse roads, according to the QCPD notice.
On July 12, 2005, Griffo was convicted of attempted sexual assault. The victim was not known to him. An Arizona Risk Assessment was completed by QCPD that determined Griffo is a Level 3 risk to the community, the notice continued. A Level 3 is high risk.
Griffo is described as a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
“This information is made available for the purpose of notifying the public, in compliance with AZ State Law. Anyone who uses this information to commit a criminal act against another person is subject to criminal prosecution,” the notice stated.
