Queen Creek Botanical Gardens opens Saturday

Queen Creek Botanical Gardens, 25002 S. 206th St. in Queen Creek, will open to the public beginning Saturday, Oct. 24.
Use 20568 E Riggs Rd Queen Creek, 85142 in GPS or type “Queen Creek Botanical Gardens” in your browser to pull up the correct location — just north of Riggs and west of Ellsworth, according to a release.
The website is QCGardens.org.
Fresh-picked produce from the gardens will be available for purchase as well as herbs, vegetables and edible flower plants in six-packs and 4-inch pots at the Market Tent/Nursery open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays, the release states.
Fruit trees will be available for purchase. Curbside pickup is offered for orders placed online.
Bare-root fruit trees are available to pre-order online, available for pickup in January/February.
The gardens are open on Saturdays for guided tours only, to a limited number of attendees. For tickets, go to https://qcgardens.square.site/shop/admissions/25
Cost is $14 for adults, $5 for children 2-17, free for under 2 and for members.
