Queen Creek-area residents sought to foster dogs

AZ CARE is in dire need of people to foster dogs.
"We are urgently looking for dog fosters for our rescue in the San Tan and Queen Creek areas," Alison White, of AZCARE, said in a release.
The nonprofit holds adoption events 11 a.m.-3 p.m. every Saturday at
Petsmart in the QC Marketplace, 21032 S. Ellsworth Loop Road.
"We are a foster-based rescue that focuses on lowering cat and dog population and at the moment we have no dog fosters to support the cat fosters. Kitten season is coming and we need some community support," Ms. White said.
"All fosters are provided food, kennels, leashes and collars, a training class at Petsmart and all the support you need. All you supply is the loving environment, transportation to and from vet appointments and adoption events," according to the release.

"The fosters we had during this time have moved, become too frail, or do not have the space for a puppy. So at this time, we don’t have any more fosters to go into the shelters and save the puppies from shelter life," Ms. White said in the release.
"We work closely with Pinal and Maricopa County shelters to find dogs and puppies that have potential for our program," she said.
