QC Police start program to meet community

The Queen Creek Police Department soon will be co-hosting its first “Coffee with a Cop.”

The event will be held at The Bistro, 22721 S. Ellsworth Road, on March 31, from 9-11 a.m. Coffee will be provided courtesy of QCPD and The Bistro.

“We are excited to launch Coffee with a Cop,” stated QCPD Chief Randy Brice in a press release. “This is just one example of QCPD’s ongoing efforts to engage with our community. We appreciate The Bistro hosting us and look forward to partnering with future businesses.”

The event is an opportunity for residents to meet their police command staff and officers, ask questions and learn more about the department. Coffee with a Cop allows residents and officers to interact in a casual environment, building trust and relationships.

The Queen Creek Police Department officially launched on Jan. 11. All QCPD officers have undergone extensive training, with a focus on decision making, partnerships, and community collaboration.

QCPD’s non-emergency number is 480-358-3500. For additional information about QCPD visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/QCPD.
