Queen Creek is offering free, curbside flu shots.

The shots will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the southeast corner of Ellsworth Loop and Victoria, north of the Queen Creek Library on 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

The shots are free through Maricopa County Public Health and are administered by the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department.

Two vaccines will be available while supplies last. One vaccine is for individuals six months to age 64. The other vaccine is for people 65 and older.

According to Maricopa County Public Health the flu vaccine does not cause flu illness or increase your risk for other respiratory viruses like COVID-19.

No insurance information is needed. Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department personnel will be wearing personal protective equipment. Those receiving flu shots are encouraged to wear a face covering unless they are under two years of age.
