Provide a family with holiday hope through Combs Giving Tree Program

The J.O. Combs Unified School District has launched its seasonal giving program to help families in need.

Holiday Hope provides the community with an opportunity to support a child with gifts, clothing, and other wish list items that they might not otherwise receive, according to a release.

"We always get such a tremendous response from our Holiday Hope program, as it really gives the community a perfect opportunity to make a difference for children in need," Kayla Fulmer, director of marketing and community relations, said in the release. "We hope that we see that generous spirit again this year as we work together to provide these deserving children with a special holiday season."

Community members interested in participating can select a child's gift tag from any of the giving trees set up at each of the seven school sites, as well as the District office. The locations and addresses are:

  • District Office, 301 E. Combs Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Combs High School, 2505 E Germann Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Combs Traditional Academy, 37327 N Gantzel Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Combs Middle School, 37611 N Pecan Creek Dr., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Ellsworth Elementary , 38454 N Carolina Ave., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Harmon Elementary, 39315 N Cortona Dr., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Ranch Elementary, 43521 N Kenworthy Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
  • Simonton Elementary, 40300 N Simonton Blvd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140

There is a limit of two gifts per child with a maximum of $30 per gift. The district asks that gifts be returned unwrapped no later than Dec. 16 to allow for distribution to families.

Opportunities to support entire families are also available, according to the release.
