Pinal County offers free COVID-19 testing in Florence, Casa Grande

Pinal County Public Health will begin offering free COVID-19 testing at two locations starting Sept. 14.
In partnership with Paradigm Laboratories, testing will be offered 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Mondays and 1-6 p.m. Wednesdays in Florence at the Florence Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main St. Testing 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays in Florence will be prioritized for law enforcement, including correctional officers, EMS and health care workers, according to a release.
Testing will be available 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursdays, 1-6 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays at the Len Colla Recreation Center, 1105 E. Fourth St. in Casa Grande.
Registration for both locations is highly encouraged and can be done by going to labfinder.com/pinalcounty, selecting an appointment and setting up a Patient Portal. However, walk-ins will be accepted.
The testing is being provided by Pinal County and no insurance information will be taken. Testing will be via the Nasopharyngeal swab method, and results are expected within 48 hours.
