Paws 4 Life car show benefit Saturday in Apache Junction

Paws 4 Life will have its annual car show 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Elks Lodge No. 2349, 2455 N. Apache Trail in Apache Junction.
Cost of the event is $20 for early registration or a $25 charge the day of the event. Check-in time is 8:30-9:45 a.m.
Pay by check to Paws 4 Life, c/o Tuni House, 5027 E. Hidalgo St., Apache Junction, AZ. 85119.
"We have the entry forms and if you send your check in with phone number we will register you. You can also call and give us info and send your payment, or swing by where we train at the Apache Greyhound Park, next to Walmart, and register and pay there, as we have applications there also," the release states.
Paws 4 Life classes are on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 6:25 p.m. Gates open by 5:30 p.m. at the Apache Greyhound Park.
Fifty food vouchers will be issued to the first 50 entries for the car show. There is a $200 prize plus a plaque for the cliub with the most entries (minimum of 20 cars per club needed).
"This year we hope to have the miniature cars present. They are safe to drive on the roads and within standards. We will also have 'Shadow' --- our first service pony with Paws 4 Life, and he also made the Saratoga Living magazine out of New York," the release states.
"Blessing of the service dogs will happen at 12:30. We will have raffles, 50/50 and baked goods for sale. Other items also. Hope to see you there. It’s going to be fun this year," according to the release.
