New bus registration for Queen Creek schools
Posted
School may be letting our next month for the summer break, but the Queen Creek Unified School District already is preparing a new bus registration process for the 2023-2024 school year.
For the coming year, families will need to register their students if they plan to ride the bus and they must complete a registration form prior to the new school year, according to a release from QCUSD.
“This change will allow us to route the students who need rides more efficiently,” QCUSD Director of Transportation Kruze Mingus stated in the release. “This will help our transportation department to provide better service to our students and community.”
Under the new process, families can expect bus stops to be closer to home, shorter bus ride times, and fewer changes to bus information throughout the year.
“This is a huge step forward for Queen Creek transportation,” Mingus stated. “This change will help QCUSD become industry leaders among our peers in the valley.”
Bus registration for the 2023–2024 school year is now open and must be completed before July 10 for the first day of school.
Parents with questions can reach out to the QCUSD Transportation Department by email at routing@qcusd.org or by phone at 480-987-5982.
