Rite of Passage and Canyon State Academy present a free charity concert Jan. 12 featuring the soft classical rock sounds of Natalie and the Sweet Talkers.

It will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Sun Valley Community Church – Queen Creek Campus, 20271 E. Rittenhouse Road in Queen Creek.

"Rite of Passage is celebrating 35 years of improving the lives of youth, families and communities. We'd like to invite you to come out and celebrate with us by bringing awareness to a cause that we are all passionate about --- human trafficking," according to a release.

"Since January is National Human Trafficking Awareness month, we believe hosting a charity concert will help raise money to assist in closing the gap on such a prevalent global epidemic. As a part of a worldwide effort to prevent and eradicate sex trafficking and slavery, Shared Hope International has been identified as the beneficiary of our shared efforts," the release states

It is a free concert and donations are optional.

"Come out and join us for an afternoon of great music for this great cause," the release states.
