Loop 101 Price Freeway road closures, restrictions for Jan. 10-14

Northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes between Ray and Warner roads from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 to 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.

The Arizona Department of Transportation’s Price Freeway improvement project is adding one new travel lane in each direction along the Price Freeway between Baseline Road and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway.

Drivers on the Price Freeway in Chandler, Tempe and Mesa should prepare to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while restrictions are in place, according to a release.

Closures include:

  • The southbound Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes between the on-ramp at Guadalupe Road and off-ramp at Elliot Road from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13.
    Northbound Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes at Guadalupe Road from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.
  • Southbound Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes from Chandler Boulevard to Price Road off-ramp from 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.
  • The southbound Price Freeway off-ramp at Price Road will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.
  • The northbound Price Freeway on-ramp at Ray Road and off-ramp at Warner Road remains closed until 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17.
  • The southbound Price Freeway on-ramp at Guadalupe Road and off-ramp at Elliot Road will be closed starting at 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, until 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
