Loop 101 Price Freeway closures, restrictions July 10-14

Drivers on the Loop 101 Price Freeway in Chandler, Tempe and Mesa should plan to use alternate routes this weekend as the northbound Price Freeway will be closed between Ray Road and U.S. Highway 60.

Drivers should be prepared to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place, according to a release.

Upcoming closures include:

  • The northbound Price Freeway will be closed between Ray Road and U.S. 60 from 9 p.m. Friday, July 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 13.  Northbound Price Freeway travelers can use the Price Freeway frontage road to reconnect with the Price Freeway at Southern Avenue. Local Price Freeway drivers can use Dobson Road or McClintock Drive to reach U.S. 60 or continue north to re-enter Loop 101 via Southern Avenue.

  • The southbound Price Freeway will be closed between U.S. 60 and Baseline Road from 8 p.m. Monday, July 13, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 14.  Southbound Price Freeway travelers can use the Price Freeway frontage road to reconnect with the Price Freeway at Baseline Road. Eastbound U.S. 60 travelers can use McClintock Drive to connect with the Price Freeway at Baseline Road. Westbound U.S. 60 travelers can use Dobson Road to connect with the Price Freeway at Baseline Road.

  • The northbound Price Freeway will be closed between Warner Road and US 60 from 9 p.m. Friday, July 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 20.  Northbound Price Freeway travelers can use the Price Freeway frontage road to reconnect with the Price Freeway at Southern Avenue. Drivers can travel north on McClintock Drive or Dobson Road to access US 60.
  • The southbound Price Freeway off-ramp at Elliot Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, July 12, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 13.
  • The northbound Price Freeway on-ramp at Chandler Boulevard will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, July 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 13.
  • The northbound Price Freeway on-ramp at Guadalupe Road will be closed from 5 a.m. Monday, July 13, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 17.
  • The northbound Price Freeway off-ramp at Guadalupe Road will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 15.
  • The northbound Price Freeway off-ramp at Baseline Road will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, July 14, through the morning of Friday, July 17.
  • The eastbound US 60 ramp to southbound Price Freeway will be narrowed to one lane from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 10.
  • The southbound Price Freeway HOV lane will be closed between Guadalupe and Elliot roads from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11.
  • The northbound frontage road from Baseline Road to the US 60 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 10.
  • The northbound Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes nightly from Guadalupe to Baseline roads from 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 17.
