Kuhn: Let Queen Creek voters decide on battery plant

Thank you so much for giving the people of Queen Creek an opportunity to speak out about the battery factory that is being built.
I feel betrayed by our town because I never knew about this plant until it had already passed. It is a bad move environmentally, regardless of what the investors say.
Will this facility sit on the water table here in the QC area? Or close to it? We are already suffering a water cutback, which, because of increased population, will become worse.
You have no idea what these types of places do to a beautiful small town like QC. I came from L.A. This is a bad idea.
This is a case of our local and state leaders wanting to be big fish in a big pond. This wonderful little pond is no longer good enough for them.
Tempe recently allowed their citizens to vote for or against a very large (arena) that was to be built in their city.
I applaud Tempe's local government for giving their citizens a voice in what happens in the city in which they live.
I also thank you for giving us an opportunity to voice our opinions. It seems like "we the people" don't get these opportunities in our lovely town.
