Home builder sponsors 12K’s of Christmas event

Fulton Homes’ 12K’s of Christmas is back for the 11th consecutive year, with holiday performances, more than 70 shopping booths and a festive costume fun-run, all benefitting Valley animals in need.

The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Freestone Park, 1021 E. Juniper Ave. in Gilbert, with registration starting at 7 a.m., according to a release.

Participating runners and Valley pet owners alike are highly encouraged to bring their furry friends to Santa’s Pet Village to help raise donations for dozens of pet rescues in the Valley, the release states.

Visitors are encouraged to dress up, shop at the Christmas Bazaar, and participate in either the 12K run, 6K run/walk or the 1.2K Sled Run. Benefitting a diverse group of local animal shelters from across the Valley, Fulton Homes’ 12K’s of Christmas has assisted in the adoption of over 2,200 pets and donated over $100,000 to local animal rescues over the past 10 years, according to the release

“We love watching everyone and their dogs dress up in the spirit of the season with 12k’s of Christmas; all for a great cause,” Doug Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes, said in the release.
