Home builder hosts pet food drive benefiting Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

Fulton Homes is partnering with Lost Our Home Pet Rescue and 98 KUPD for a pet supplies drive in conjunction with New Vistas Center for Education.

"With the holiday season and cooler temps quickly approaching, a pet supplies drive is exactly what shelter animals need to stay comfortable, happy and adoptable," according to a release.

The donation drive started Oct. 24 and runs through Dec. 1.

The primary donation point will be a Chandler-based elementary school, New Vistas Center for Education, 670 N. Arizona Ave.

“The season of giving is upon up and this is great way to start it off right and Fulton Homes is happy to help in any way we can,” Doug Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes, said in the release.

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is requesting the following unused items for the drive:

  • Canned dog/cat food
  • Kirkland Maintenance Cat Food
  • Litter
  • KMR formula
  • Nursing bottle kits
  • Martingale collars
  • Six-foot leashes
  • Gift cards to: Walmart, Amazon, PetSmart
  • Cleaning bleach
  • Rescue disinfectant
  •

Taking adequate care of these dogs and cats is extremely important because sicknesses such as kennel cough and infections can spread quickly in animal shelters,” Bethany Holtz, communications manager of Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, said in the release. Without proper food, leashes and other supplies, shelters such as Lost Our Home are unable to ensure healthy, adoptable animals.

To donate any of the items listed, drop-offs will be at select Fulton Homes communities including Sirona at 1926 E. Kesler Lane in Chandler and Cooley Station at 2863 S. Bar Diamond St. in Gilbert.
