Higley High School 2020 graduates parade held
Posted
Independent Newsmedia
Students who are graduating this year from Higley High School participated in a parade of vehicles May 20 with a traveling DJ leading the procession.
Students were asked to wear their caps and gowns, decorate the cars and have fun. They were to follow all traffic laws and social-distancing guidelines.
Participants were to register on a Facebook page.
"Our graduates are in a unique situation this year, and our hearts go out to them," according to a Facebook group description at Higley High School Class Of 2020 - Adopt A Senior & Graduation Parade.
"This is simply an attempt to make them feel incredibly special and spectacular by being pampered. Please invite friends who would be willing to adopt a senior or invite people that you know that have a senior at Higley High School. The more people we get, the more successful this will be and our hope is to get every senior on here and have them be adopted," it said.
