Posted

Trudy of Sun City, AZ passed away peacefully January 23rd at the age of 91 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born September 15, 1929 in Perry, Iowa. She married Joe Jamison in 1947. They were married for 63 years until Joe’s passing in 2010.
Trudy, Joe and their three children lived in Minneapolis, MN before moving to Webster, WI in 1958. She was a homemaker and worked many years at the hardware store (f/k/a Gambles) in Webster. They were fortunate to winter in AZ for 40 years, where she worked as a hostess and waitress in Sun City, AZ, which she really enjoyed. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, reading and having and attending garage sales. She was a true animal lover and cared for her multiple dogs and cats throughout her life. She is survived by her daughter, Sheri (Don) Buffington; sons, Michael (Pam) and Kurt (Julie); four grandchildren, Gregory (Mary Beth), Grant, Michael (Callen) and Daniel; one great grandchild, Jack; and other relatives and friends. Trudy was a very caring and supportive wife and mother. With her passing, she will be deeply missed. “Your mother is always with you…She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you – not time, not space and not even death”.
A graveside service will be held the end of February in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster, WI. Arrangements are entrusted to the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
