First restaurant week coming to Queen Creek

Skylar and Mark Hittle's Woodbarn BBQ is among the eateries that will be taking part in the inaugural Queen Creek Restaurant Week in August.

In less than a week, the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its inaugural Queen Creek Restaurant Week.
Queen Creek Restaurant Week will run Aug.12-18, and dozens of eateries in the town will be offering special menus, prix fixe meals and discounts.
“We want the community to come support our local restaurants, enjoy drinks with neighbors, and discover new establishments as they eat and drink their way around Queen Creek,” Chris Clark, president and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, stated in a press release. “It stimulates the local economy by keeping money within the community, which in turn helps to create jobs and foster a vibrant local culture.”
Participating restaurants include Badlands Bar and Grill, Cold Stone Creamery, Duck Donuts, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, Mici Italian, Old Ellsworth Brewing Co, Palma Kitchen & Tap, Portillo’s, Queen Creek Olive Mill, RareTea, Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery, Schnepf Farms, Seven Brother’s Burgers, Sidewalk Coffee & Bagel, Smoothie King, Social Birdie, Someburros, WoodBarn BBQ and Valley Tap Room.
