Members of the Queen Creek High School Theatre Company are ready to give the audience that “old razzle dazzle” as they prepare to perform “Chicago Teen Edition.”
The performances are 7 p.m., April 4-6 in the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road.
“Chicago” is musical about young women on their journey to fame with the use of murder. After Roxy Hart kills her boyfriend she’s sent to jail to be looked after by Matron Mama Morton. Hart believes that all the fame could bring her to vaudeville, whereas Velma Kelly already had that idea. We follow the story of this friendly competition for fame while hotshot lawyer and king of the courtroom Billy Flynn tries to evade them from a certain doom.
