Deadline looms for Queen Creek Chamber awards nominations

The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its 16th annual Business Awards Dinner. Last year, Schnepf Elementary School’s Cindy Thompson was named 2024 Educator of the Year.

Nominations for the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce's 16th annual Business Awards Dinner are closing soon.
Nominators will need to provide the individual’s name and contact information and a brief summary and/or specific examples of why the nominator believes the nominee meets the criteria.
The dinner, presented by SRP, is set for Thursday, Sept. 25 at Encanterra Country Club, 36460 N. Encanterra Drive.
This event celebrates the local businesses, educators and community members that are doing great things in the community.
The nomination form for Business of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, Educator of the Year and Volunteer of the Year is now available. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, June 13.
"This event celebrates the remarkable contributions of our local businesses, educators and community members. Each nominee should exemplify the spirit of innovation, dedication and community-mindedness that makes Queen Creek an exceptional place to live, play, and work. We encourage everyone to participate by nominating deserving candidates who have made a significant impact in our community," stated Chris Clark, President & CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, in a press release.
Business of the Year recognizes a Queen Creek Chamber member who has been in business more than three years, provides excellence in customer service, has experienced progressive sales/marketing growth, provides innovative products or services, community volunteerism, and/or demonstrates economic support of the Queen Creek area business community.
Emerging Business of the Year recognizes a Queen Creek Chamber member who has been in business for less than three years, provides excellence in customer service, provides innovative products or services, community volunteerism and/or demonstrates economic support of the Queen Creek area business community.
Educator of the Year recognizes a teacher or educational support personnel who is dedicated to their profession, inspiring and is making a difference in the lives of local youth within the schools in Queen Creek.
Volunteer of the Year recognizes a community member who has demonstrated outstanding volunteerism, participation and leadership within the community. Previous winners are eligible for an award after two years have passed.
