Construction managers sought for fire stations 2, 5 in Queen Creek

The Town of Queen Creek is seeking construction managers at-risk for two planned fire stations.

Statements of qualifications are being sought from firms for work such as pre-construction and construction services with a qualified construction manager/general contractor for both station No. 2, 24787 S. Sossaman Road; and station No. 5, 245 W. Combs Road.

The town is requesting that the construction managers at-risk work with the team prior to construction to analyze the architect’s design --- including plans and specifications --- to ensure the feasibility of the designs and to assist in bringing the estimated construction cost of the project within its budget, according to a request for proposals.

Both fire station buildings are to be approximately 13,000 to 13,500 square feet and are to function as the day-to-day office and residence for crews, it states.

Statements of qualifications are due at 3 p.m. April 9 for Fire Station No. 2 and 3 p.m. April 15 for Fire Station No. 5, both to the Town of Queen Creek Municipal Services Building, 22358 S. Ellsworth Road.
