Seniors and families from Apache Junction, Gold Canyon and neighboring communities are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Apache Junction/Gold Canyon Senior Expo on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

It will be hosted by Independent Newsmedia.

"We had a fantastic turnout for our first expo in AJ and we are looking forward to our 2nd Annual Apache Junction/Gold Canyon Senior Expo," according to a release.

The senior expo will be 9 a.m.-noon Jan. 7 at Central Arizona College's Superstition Mountain Campus, 805 S. Idaho Road in Apache Junction.

"There will be a variety of businesses with information on healthcare and wellness, home improvement, financial services, insurance, retirement living and more," according to the release.

Vendors are being sought for the event.

"Our event understands that today’s age 55-plus communities have a dynamic lifestyle and are pursuing ways to stay active, be engaged and be informed. If your organization or business provides products, services or resources benefiting seniors, then optimize your marketing dollars by showcasing, demonstrating and meeting with these highly motivated customers," the release states.
