A Valley man shot and killed his ex-wife in north Phoenix on Wednesday night.

Jessica Shukers, 39, was shot at least once in an incident that occurred near Tatum Boulevard and Deer Valley drive about 9:40 p.m. She died at the scene, Phoenix Police said.

Justin Alan Creed, 38, was arrested and booked into jail on one count of murder. Phoenix Police classifed the case as domestic violence because Creed and Shukers were at one one time married and it remains under investigation, according to a release.
