The American Theatre Guild’s North American debut of “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.,” a tribute celebrating the legendary Aretha Franklin, will make a Phoenix stop in January.

This production is part of the Broadway at the Orpheum Theatre Series, and takes the Orpheum Theatre, 203 W. Adams St., Phoenix, at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13; at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14; and at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15.

This brand-new production is adapted from McGee Entertainment’s Australian touring smash-hit, “RESPECT—The Aretha Franklin Story.”
