The Scottsdale Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying the driver of a hit-and-run vehicle that struck a pedestrian.

At 9:30 p.m. Sept. 26, an adult female pedestrian was crossing the Thomas and Scottsdale roads intersection when she was struck by a dark-colored, four-door sedan that was traveling in the eastbound lanes om Thomas Road, Scottsdale police officials report.

The victim received life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. The suspect vehicle failed to remain at the scene and was last seen heading eastbound on Thomas Road. The vehicle most likely has damage to the front-end and windshield.
