Piper Charitable Trust grant to support Valley Hope Women’s Center

Posted

Hope Women’s Center has been awarded a grant to support its ongoing efforts to empower women and children in crisis.

This grant, provided by Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, will enable the organization to continue to expand its work providing essential services, support, and resources to women in need and at risk of family separation.

The Center has locations in Apache Junction, Camp Verde, Coolidge, Maricopa, Phoenix, and a West Valley Center that serves El Mirage, Surprise, Sun City, Peoria, and surrounding communities.

“By connecting parents to supportive services, Hope Women’s Center plays a critical role in preventing family separation,” Kerri Kaczmarczyk, Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust program officer, shared in a press release. “The Center’s holistic approach also supports mental and emotional barriers that can inhibit a parent from thriving.”

Piper Trust’s investment will enable Hope Women’s Center to:

  • Expand its new Every Mother’s Advocate program to support women and children at risk of family separation due to domestic violence, poverty and homelessness.
  • Strengthen its educational and vocational training initiatives to empower women and children with the skills and knowledge to break the cycle of poverty.
  • Launch public awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the challenges women and children face and work toward sustainable solutions.
  • Enhance its support services, such as counseling, legal assistance and access to healthcare, to ensure a holistic approach to addressing the needs of those in crisis to keep families together whenever possible.

Hope Women’s Center has a long history of dedication to supporting women and children, and is grateful for Piper Trust's recognition and support. The organization believes this grant will be a catalyst for positive change, enabling it to serve even more women and children and make a lasting impact on their lives.
