Sunny’s Lounge will become a pop-up haunted paradise this October.
The cocktail bar, at 2701 E. Indian School Road, in Phoenix, is conjuring up a month-long celebration with Black Lagoon with devilishly delicious cocktails Oct. 1-31.
“Black Lagoon is an immersive, creepy-as-hell cocktail experience that pays homage to the macabre and throws in a splash of goth and metal for good measure,” the Black Lagoon pop-up states on its website.
The bar will be cloaked in cobwebs, illuminated by flickering candlelight, and haunted by friendly ghosts.
“We welcome any and all challengers in Phoenix to try and top what we’ve got planned at Sunny’s Lounge,” Mat Snapp, partner at Barter & Shake, shared in a press release. “We’re crafting an experience that’s delightfully dark and dangerously fun.”
Black Lagoon will include specialty cocktails including Nosferatu's Rise, Hex Appeal, Memento Mori, and Blood Lust.
Pop into Sunny’s Lounge for a month-long celebration of spooky sips. Their haunted doors are open 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. And the Scaredeycast event will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.
