A 19-year-old man died at a hospital following a crash Saturday in west Phoenix, police said.

Detectives responded to the collision near 5800 North Ball Park Boulevard about 10:30 a.m. May 25 and found Louis Kyrell with serious injuries. He died later at a hospital.

The crash involved an SUV and a motorcycle near Camelback Ranch Ball Park where police said Kyrell was riding a motorcycle north on Ball Park Boulevard. A man was driving his SUV out of a private driveway near Montebello Avenue when the collision occurred, police said.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

An investigation is continuing, police said.
