Man dies after Woodland Avenue shooting, search for suspects underway

A man died at a hospital after being shot Saturday night near 15th and Woodland avenues, Phoenix police said.

Officers responded to the shooting scene about 8:45 p.m. June 14 and found the victim with at least one gunshot wound. He died at a hospital, police said.

 Preliminary information indicates two men approached the victim and, during an argument, shot him. The victim has not been identified.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO).
