Local community leaders elected on board of directors for statewide women’s advocacy organization
Posted
The Arizona Foundation for Women recently elected five new members to its board of directors.
AFW is a state research, advocacy, and philanthropy organization that brings women’s needs to the forefront to help them overcome the barriers that confine their power and potential.
The board of directors's five new members are:
Belinda Barclay-White, founder of Arizona Breastnet
Caitlin Rascelles, senior vice president and western states regional executive at PURE Insurance
Lora Golke, senior director of development & donor engagement at Arizona Community Foundation
Deanna Peterson, manager at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC
Rasheryl McCreary, president/ CEO of TAO Leadership Development Inc.
“We are excited to have these diverse, talented and influential community members join our board,” Maureen Bussoletti, AFW’s board chair, stated in the release.
Ms. Bussoletti also added that the newly elected members will join a robust, passionate and committed board of directors who are determined to advance the empowerment of women in Arizona.
“We know that when women are empowered, they measurably improve our communities and the lives of our children,” Ms. Bussoletti stated.
According to Mesha Davis, CEO of AFW, the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected women, and the organization is honored to have the new board members join the team to move their strategic vision forward.
“As we navigate out of a difficult year, we look forward to opportunities to make a greater impact," Ms. Davis stated in the release.
