Five-time Grammy Award-winning rap icon Lil Wayne will bring his Tha Carter VI tour, a North American run, to Phoenix this summer.
The tour celebrates the release of his album “Tha Carter VI” and celebrates more than 20 years of his “Tha Carter” album series.
The tour will feature special guests Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington when it arrives at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., on Aug. 29.
“Tha Carter VI” will be out on June 6.
Produced by Live Nation, the 34-city tour kicks off June 6 at Madison Square Garden with his first-ever headlining show at the iconic New York City arena.
Tickets will be available starting with artist presale beginning Wednesday, June 4. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of general sales beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at LiveNation.com.
