Impact Gymnastics Academy relaunches Ninja zone, debuts baby program

Impact Gymnastics Academy in north central Phoenix has announced a relaunch of itspopular Ninja Zone Program beginning March 1.

Located at 7812 N. 12th St., the gym owned by Samantha Baltierrez and Maria Lawrence has been in business since 2015. The gym is almost 30,000 square feet and includes Ninja Zone, kinder gym, beams, bars and lots of tumbling space, according to a press release.

Impact will be updating lesson plans and skill progressions monthly in the Ninja Zone renovation so parents can follow along with their ninja’s progress. Their bigger and better obstacle courses will help ninjas to turn their energy into focus while keeping their bodies and brains moving.

Another update is the inclusion of progress charts to document a ninja’s skill progression to help them level up to their next mission. This also means more celebration opportunities to inspire and motivate, the press release stated.

Impact will focus on the Ninja Creed. Every week the children will discuss a different “Ninja Creed” to help them learn how to take on difficult challenges in life and the best ways to use their energy to make good decisions for themselves.

These transformations will help them learn better ways to respect their parents, teachers, siblings, and peers.

“This will be an amazing way to take our already current Ninja Zone to the next level,” said Ninja Zone and Kinder Gym Department Leader, Gabby Anderson of Impact Gymnastics Academy. “Be ready to level up with Ninja Zone and see how your child grows mentally and physically in this program.”

Impact also is adding a fun new class to its revamped Ninja schedule: Itty Bitty Ninja!

In an organized, yet playful structure, this parent and tot class is the perfect way to socialize your child, allow them to learn and understand what it means to follow instruction and get them moving. These classes follow the Ninja theme and the skills required to master the course include fundamental movement, coordination, fine and gross motor skill development, and our Ninja Zone character-building component.

Itty Bitty Ninja allows a child to play, have fun, bond with their Ninja grown-up, and learn body awareness. Itty Bitty Ninjas will be introduced to simple vocabulary, color words, numbers, and more.

Itty Bitty Ninja is for stable walkers through age 3. Itty Bitty Ninja classes prepare your child for the next phase of Ninja Sport, so by the time they are old enough to enroll in Lil’ Ninja classes, they’ll be ahead of the game.
