The “Golden Girls” will make their way to downtown Phoenix, but you haven’t seen them quite like this.

The stage comedy, with a story by Robert Leleux and directed by Eric Swanson, is traveling on tour across the country and will visit the Valley in October.

Ryan Bernier stars as Dorothy, Vince Kelley is Blanche, Adam Graber is Rose, and Christopher Kamm plays Sophia in the stage adaptation that opens its run locally with a 7:30 p.m. performance on Thursday Oct. 17 at Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe St. The production in Phoenix runs through Oct. 27

“Miami's sassiest seniors have returned for one more hurrah,” a show press release describes. “2024 finds Sophia out on bail, after being busted by the DEA for running a drug ring for retirees. Blanche and Rose have founded CreakN, a thriving sex app for seniors. And Dorothy is trying to hold it all together, with help from her much younger, sex-crazed love interest.”

The Tour is produced by Murray & Peter Present and Innovation Arts & Entertainment. This production is rated 18+ only (adult theme comedy).
