Phoenix Zoo officials are asking Valley residents to donate children's books now through Jan. 26, according to a press release.
Officials want books that serve children at a pre-kindergarten level, the press release stated.
The donated books will go toward children at the Valleywise Family Resource Center in Surprise and the AZ Migrant HeadStart program, the press release stated.
Residents can drop off books at the Phoenix Zoo, 455 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix. Admission is not required to drop off books.
