I am writing to express my gratitude for Diane Smith’s recent Women’s Watch column on concierge medicine.
Her insightful commentary sheds light on an innovative approach that is reshaping patient care and empowering providers to deliver more personalized services.
I launched my concierge practice in 2023, and like many providers, I’m navigating the challenges of a complex health care system.
Despite a concierge model, practices like Nurse Practitioner Consultants face obstacles such as declining insurance reimbursements.
Ms. Smith’s column underscores the importance of these models in helping practices not only adapt but survive in this environment.
