Arizona added nearly 200 cases and one death of COVID-19 overnight.

According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, 2,456 cases and 65 deaths are in the state, up 187 and one from Sunday, respectively.

In Maricopa County, there are 1,433 cases and 31 deaths.

Pima and Navajo counties are the only others reporting more than 200 cases.

On Friday, Gov. Doug Ducey and his office provided further guidance on essential services in Arizona. As a result, businesses like barbershops, spas and salons were forced to close as of 5 p.m. Saturday, April 4.

In addition, local parks were expected to close off amenities that don't allow for proper social distancing or proper hygiene. Pools at hotels, condos, apartments and city parks are also ordered to close.

Over the weekend, Mr. Doug Ducey announced the state secured a new agreement with Honeywell to produce more than 6 million N95 masks for the state of Arizona over the next 12 months.

Upon production of the masks, the AZDHS will deliver them to county health departments for further distribution to health, safety, and emergency response workers, according to a release.
