Phoenix police suspect foul play in man's death

Phoenix police are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness after a man’s body was found Saturday morning in the northern part of the city.

Detectives suspect foul play after the body was found near a park at 23rd Avenue and Cactus Road.

During their preliminary investigation, detectives said there was “suspicious trauma found on the man’s body.”

The victim has been identified as Nazario Lopez-Felix, 47.

The investigation remains active. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Phoenix police or Silent Witness if they wish to remain anonymous.
