BBB said in a news release it is stepping in to help struggling nonprofits make ends meet as demand for their resources have increased while donations have decreased over the last year.
The second annual Main St. Accelerator program through GoDaddy and BBB concludes in July with a graduating class of 40 entrepreneurs.

BBB said each chosen nonprofit aligns with its mission for trust and integrity in the community. One such nonprofit is The Rosie Network out of Ramona, California.
"The Rosie Network is honored to be chosen as part of the BBB's Empower program to further our mission. The funds will directly support our high impact Service2CEO 17-week entrepreneurship training program in San Diego to support a thriving military entrepreneurial network that stokes the region's economic engine," said Leona Sublet, Finance Grant Administrator of The Rosie Network, in a prepared statement.
In Arizona, the chosen nonprofits and entrepreneurs are:
Each nonprofit awardee will be expected to execute an initiative that aligns with their cause by the end of the year. A detailed report describing the impact, key performance indicators, metrics and lessons learned from the project will be submitted to BBB to fulfill the subgrant criteria.
