The West Valley Art Museum, located inside Peoria City Hall at 8401 W. Monroe St., is hosting a free, special winter exhibit called Fantasy & Wonder: The Art of Myth, Magic and Fairytale.

West Valley Art Museum is hosting a free, special winter exhibit called Fantasy & Wonder: The Art of Myth, Magic and Fairytale.

The West Valley Art Museum, located inside Peoria City Hall at 8401 W. Monroe St., is hosting a free, special winter exhibit called Fantasy & Wonder: The Art of Myth, Magic and Fairytale.
The unique exhibit features a collection of art by some of the most notable names in modern fantasy art, including work by Brian Froud, Wendy Froud, Scott Gustafson, James C. Christensen, Scott Radke, Rebecca Smith, J. Henry, Toby Froud, Steve Samsara and Sprite Hanson.
A special reception and program will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. to learn about the artists on display.
The Museum is open Monday-Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 6 p.m.
