Take steps to support your health and the women you love – our mothers, sisters, friends, partners, daughters, granddaughters and cousins.

Join Sun Health Foundation and the community for the third annual 5K for Women’s Health Walk/Run Sunday, Sept. 25, at Surprise Stadium, 15930 N. Bullard Ave.

The 5K for Women’s Health Walk/Run is open to everyone.

Walk individually or as a team and add to the fun by dressing up. Strollers, wheelchairs and wagons are welcome. No pets.

Proceeds benefit health programs and services for women at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, through the Generosity for Generations Campaign. With each step, you’re enjoying the health benefits of exercise and improving the health of our community.

Form a team or join one when registering. To register or for sponsorship information, visit SunHealthFoundation.org/5K or contact Janine McGhee at Janine.McGhee@sunhealth.org or 623-471-8503. When you register early, by Aug. 31, a discounted fee is available.

Registration fee includes a race T-shirt, custom race number and finisher’s medal. This race will be chip timed using disposable chip technology by RFID Timing. See the website for more details.

Sponsors to date include Banner Health, Belmontez Construction, CDW Healthcare, HILGARTWILSON, Independent Newsmedia, Morrison Living, Orcutt Winslow and Zion & Zion; and Community Partner, Whataburger.
