Sunrise Mountain grad earns Florida Tech academic honors

Haley Gilmour of Peoria earned her way to the Spring 2020 Dean’s List at Florida Institute of Technology.

To be included on the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade point average of at least 3.4.

Haley is a graduate of Sunrise Mountain High School, 21200 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria, where she was a National Honor Society chapter member, and a four-year member and three-year officer of the school’s Career and Technical Student Organization Engineering/SkillsUSA club.

Florida Tech offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in aeronautics and aviation, engineering, computing and cybersecurity, business, science and mathematics, psychology, education and communication.
