Arrangements were recently made with Rachel Zingg, Life Enrichment Director at Senita Ridge, 18172 N. 91st Ave., for Sun City NSDAR Agua Fria Chapter members Shirley Staggs, Honorary Regent, Linda Lundberg, Chapter Historian, Tish Alicki, Chapter Chaplain, and Daughter Carolyn Filer to present 11 Vietnam War era veterans with commemorative veteran pins and one surviving spouse with a commemorative surviving spouse pin.
The veterans and the surviving spouse were also given patriotic lap robes, made and donated by the Sun City Bell Stitchers Club.
A special veterans pin was also presented to a recently retired marine who was attending his father’s presentation of pin and lap robe.
