The Peoria Public Library system announced the story writing contest for the city of Peoria StoryWalk.

The Peoria Public Library system is proud to announce the story writing contest for the city of Peoria StoryWalk.
Kids ages 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12 can submit an original picture book to the library for a chance to see it featured at all three StoryWalks.
StoryWalk is an innovative way for children to read and play outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to metal stands along a walking path at all three Peoria community parks. As individuals stroll down the path, they are directed to the next page in the story and to do a related activity.
