The Salt River Project’s publicly elected board of directors will hold its second of four planned special board of directors meetings to learn more about the SRP pricing proposal and take public comments on Feb. 6.
The meeting takes place Thursday, Feb. 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the SRP Public Administration Building. Attendees must present a valid state I.D. and check in at the SRP security desk, according to a press release.
SRP’s proposal seeks an overall 2.4% price increase, which reflects a proposed increase of $169.1 million in base revenue to support upgrades to the power system and an anticipated decrease of $68.7 million in fuel and purchased power revenues, which are recovered through the Fuel and Purchased Power Adjustment Mechanism rate, the release explained.
If approved by SRP’s board of directors, the average residential customer using 1,117 kilowatt-hours a month will see a monthly bill increase of 3.5%, or $5.61, effective with the November 2025 billing cycle.
Actual bill impacts will vary based on customer usage and price plan.

SRP’s board of directors will conduct a detailed review of the pricing proposal at multiple special board of directors meetings and consider public feedback before making a decision, according to the release. This meeting will include presentations from stakeholders, additional public comments and responses from management and the board consultant to public comments.
