Sky Zone Peoria, 9040 W. Larkspur Drive, Suite 134, has earned Mayor’s Business of the Month honors for October 2019.

Customers can soar through the air on a zip line, free climb a 14-foot rock wall, or test speed, strength and agility on a Ninja Warrior Course.

Matt Frick, a former professional baseball player, took over Sky Zone Peoria more than six years ago when he and his wife Karla made the leap into small business ownership. Today Mr. Frick and general manager JC Sandoval run the day-to-day operations.

Sky Zone Peoria offers hourly ticket options and tiered memberships with access to more than 13 different attractions covering 28,000 square feet.

“People want variety,” said Mr. Frick, whose Sky Zone Peoria has created numerous amenities, including trampoline and parkour courses, a toddler zone, ultimate dodgeball, jousting and, among others, Sky Slam basketball. There are also massage chairs and a Fuel Zone Café.

Mr. Frick takes pride in giving back to the Peoria community that he, Karla, and their three children call home. One of their latest fundraising opportunities supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month through the sale of pink camo socks. Sky Zone Peoria also developed a student recognition program that includes the yearly donation of more than 25,000 “You’re Awesome” play passes to local schools.

With private room rental space and the option to rent the entire facility, Sky Zone Peoria is a location for birthday parties and corporate team building activities. Outside of free play, they also offer events, including GLOW – a play experience that drops the lights and brings out lasers and cool music – and Sunday Family Night, which includes four 60-minute activity tickets, one large one-topping pizza, and a pitcher of soda.
