Sensory Santa brings unique, welcoming holiday experience to special needs families

Posted

Christ’s Church of the Valley is hosting Sensory Santa, a free Christmas event designed for children and adults with special needs and their families.

This experience will take place 6-8 p.m. Dec. 5, at their Peoria, East Valley, and Surprise campuses.

Sensory Santa offers a calm, welcoming environment where individuals with sensory sensitivities can enjoy festive activities, meet Santa Claus, and capture treasured holiday photos in a way that’s accessible and inclusive.

To register go to ccv.church/sensorysanta.

"Our Sensory Santa event is a beautiful way to bring Christmas cheer to families who may find traditional holiday settings overwhelming," said Laura Moller, special needs director at CCV. "We believe that every family deserves the chance to create joyful memories, and we are honored to provide an environment where all feel welcomed and valued."
