The Peoria Unified School District is hosting its inaugural Marching Band Showcase to spotlight all seven of Peoria Unified’s award-winning marching bands in one central location.
At this showcase, admission is free for the community and attendees can witness performances by all high school marching band students throughout Peoria Unified. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Peoria High School and the performance schedule is as follows:
6 p.m. – Centennial High School, directed by Mrs. Kate Menasco
6:20 p.m. – Liberty High School, directed by Mr. Richard Ebersole
6:40 p.m. – Ironwood High School, directed by Mr. Ryan Salcido
7 p.m. – Sunrise Mountain High School, directed by Mr. Jacob Osorio
7:20 p.m. – Peoria High School, directed by Mr. Jeffery Malone
7:40 p.m. – Cactus High School, directed by Mr. Joshua Simmons
8 p.m. – Raymond S. Kellis High School, directed by Mr. Nathan Garrison
“Marching band is a wonderful opportunity for our students to grow as leaders, learn to collaborate with each other and most importantly showcase their skills as musicians,” said director of arts education Robert Panzer. “The dedication these students have to their craft is unbelievable and I am so grateful our community has the opportunity to see these students perform.”
