Political event could cause traffic delays in Peoria area today

Election 2020

Posted

A political event in Glendale today could impact traffic in the Peoria area.

Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, will hold a campaign event at the Glendale Dream City Church, near 75th Avenue and Loop 101.

This ticketed event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1 p.m.

Similar campaign events have occurred elsewhere in the Valley in recent months.

In addition to ticketed attendees, there may be protesters in the area, as well as media representatives.

It is expected that both pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be heightened.

Travellers in the area are being encouraged to seek alternate routes.
