Pita Jungle will officially open its 22nd location in Peoria at Park West, Dec. 2, 9792 W. Northern Ave, suite 1600.
To celebrate, guests will receive a free small hummus or specialty dip all day with any purchase. This deal is valid one per table and dine-in only at the new location on Dec. 2.
The 4,400 square foot restaurant next to Harkins Theatres features a large open dining area with tables, booths and high tops, a 20-seat square bar, and an outdoor covered patio with a communal table. It offers seating for about 110 inside and 55 outside. The restaurant also features a 26-foot long open kitchen with a wood fired oven and a separate takeout area to cater to on-the-go guests. It will be the first Pita Jungle location to bake its own fresh pitas every day. The “Pita Room” can be seen from any spot in the restaurant.
Each Pita Jungle restaurant designed to have a character that is reflective of the times and the locality. From the unique décor and original artwork by local artists, to the custom, handpicked music playlist and creative non-formulaic staff, there are no cookie-cutter locations at Pita Jungle. The Park West restaurant features high ceilings, dark grey walls and green accents, floating glass shelves with greenery around the bar with two TVs, and of course modern art from local artists. Pita Jungle hired about 60 part-time and full-time employees for the new Peoria restaurant.
Starting Monday, the restaurant will be open for lunch, happy hour and dinner seven days a week.
