Local community members are coming together and riding to show support for local wounded veterans at the 11th Annual Phoenix Wounded Vet Run.
The ride March 15 starts in Peoria at Arrowhead Harley Davidson, 16130 N. Arrowhead Fountains Center Dr., and ends at the Roadrunner Restaurant & Saloon, 47801 N. Black Canyon Hwy, in New River.
The Phoenix Wounded Vet Run is an event put on by They Fought We Ride, a nonprofit that raises money to support local combat veterans in Arizona.
The Phoenix Wounded Vet Run brings people together to support those affected in combat, who have sacrificed their bodies and minds for the country.
This event is sponsored in part by Arrowhead Harley Davidson, Roadrunner Restaurant & Saloon, Inked Brothers Screen Printing, Cigna, Matsock & Associate, Coreslab Structures, Chuck Franklin Law, Law Tigers and many other local businesses.
The event's 2025 honoree is Brian Saaristo, a purple heart veteran. All proceeds go to Saaristo to honor him and his fight for freedom.
Pre-Registration sign up is available at www.theyfoughtweridenational.com. Cost is $25 per rider and $40 for couple. Registration starts at 9 a.m., and breakfast will be available onsite.
